Chew Cheng Yen, who entered the smart home business in 2016 after realizing smart devices are changing people’s living lifestyle, founded MK Perwaja Sdn. Bhd. He went to China to look for the resources related to smart homes and started researching on smart homes. Whereas as the home brand of MK Perwaja Sdn. Bhd., Home+ was established in 2016 with the aim of becoming a one-stop smart home provider. The word “home” refers to customer’s home, while the “+” sign refers to advanced technology. The company strives to provide the families in South East Asia a better quality of life through expanding home security system – starting with their main door lock. Home+ smart door lock is the next generation digital door lock that allows one to access home with a smart and convenient modern home living lifestyle through the touch of a button.

Founder

Chew Cheng Yen is the founder of MK Perwaja Sdn. Bhd. and the company’s home brand “Home+”. Born in 1987 in Klang, Chew completed his education at the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) with a degree in Accounting Management. He entered into the smart home business in 2016 after a client introduced him to the smart home business. He then went to China and source for the resources related to smart homes and start researching to smart homes. The reason of entering this line of business is because smart devices are changing people living style as we enter a new era of smart technologies. The company started as one man show and today, he has a team of employees managing the company including administrators, technicians, sales advisors, and interns.

First Collabration

Our journey began in the solar industry before switching and entering into the smart home industry in 2016 with a simple mission to become an all-in-one smart tech solution provider. Since then, Home+ focused on R&D of smart home technology, including wireless connection, home security and home automation. Today, we are the leading pioneer of smart gadgets in green energy system, smart home, smart community and hotel system.
